To be involved in God's work,you must be a servant.Many scripture passages describe Jesus as God's Servant.He came as a servant to accomplish God's will in the redemption of humanity.Paul described Jesus' servant attitude and commanded it to us in this way.

"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,who,being in the form of God,did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,but make Himself of no reputation,taking the form of a bondservant,and coming in the likeness of men.And being found in appearance as a man,He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death,even the death of the Cross." (Philippians 2:5-8)

We are to develop the servant attitude of Christ which calls for humility and obedience.In His instructions to His disciples about servanthood,Jesus described His role of service:"And whosoever desires to be first among you,let him be your slave-just as the Son of Man did not come to be served,but to serve,and to give His life a ransom for many."(Matthew20:27-28)God works through His servants.

My understanding of a servant is depicted in Jeremiah 18:1-6 as God described His relationship to Israel,as being like a potter with clay.To be useful,the clay has to be molded has to be moldable,and once made into a vessel,it has to be in the hands of the potter to used.Clay not moldable is not useful because clay has to be responsive to the potter so the potter can make so the potter can make any vessel of His choosing.The clay vessel then has to remain in the potter's hand.When the potter has finished making the vessel of His choice,that vessel has no ability to do anything whatsoever.It now has to remain in the potter's hand.

When you came to God as His servant He first wants you to allow Him to mold you and shape you into the instrument of His choosing.Then He can take your life and put it where He wills and work through it to accomplish His purposes.As you obey,He does His work through you.

Then as a servant of God you have to do 2 things-be moldable and remain for the Master's(potter) use.Then the master can use that instrument as He chooses.With God working through His servant,that servant can do anything,God can do.Unlimited potential!A servant of God must do what He is instructed,and be must remember who is instructed,and he must rememeber who is accomplishing thew work-GOD IS!

Ordinary as you are and we are,God can and will useus to redeem a lost world.All we have to do is to be open to Him as servants.

The foundation of this ministry is Jesus Christ and the call to this ministry is ordained by Him.All writings and all things are from Him and nothing more or less.

Jesus says it so very true when He spake:"If anyone serves Me,let him follow me;and where I am,there My servant shall be also.If anyone serves Me,him My Father will honor."(John 12:26)
